From invoice to reimbursement
Separate settings for each person, with a shared view of outstanding amounts.
Manage each family member
Each person has their own insurers and invoices. A person selector and subtle background colours help distinguish whose records you are working with.
Private insurance and Beihilfe
Enter each person’s reimbursement percentages. Beihilfe appears first in the insurer name suggestions; you can also enter a custom insurer name.
Benefit categories within one policy
Set dental care to 75% and hospital care to 100% within the same insurance policy. Split mixed invoices into line items with different reimbursement rates.
Account for annual deductibles
The app considers the annual deductible entered in your insurance settings. Expected reimbursement is calculated on the invoice amount above that deductible.
Track submissions and reimbursements
See what has not yet been submitted, the total expected and the amount received so far. Record partial payments and individual reimbursements separately.
Scan and find invoices
Use the camera or import a PDF or image, with text recognition on your device. Search and person, year and benefit-category filters help you find your records.
See totals for each insurer
Invoice and submission totals show the share allocated to that insurer. Also see received reimbursements, your own share and the configured annual deductible.
Optionally sync your own devices
Manage records locally and enable iCloud when you need it. Save JSON backups and CSV exports at a location you choose.
Start with your first family member
First-use guidance helps you create a person and their insurance policy. Unused people and policies can be permanently deleted after confirmation.

Good to know
Does the app submit invoices to insurers?
No. Submit invoices through the process provided by your insurer or Beihilfe office. PKV-Abrechnung records when each share was submitted and reimbursed.
Are expected reimbursements binding?
Calculations use the rates, amounts and deductible you enter. Record actual reimbursements separately. Your insurer’s or Beihilfe office’s statement determines the amount paid.
How is the deductible calculated?
For example, with a €500 annual deductible and an €800 invoice, €300 remains eligible. A reimbursement rate of 75% gives an expected reimbursement of €225.
What about a no-claims premium refund?
A reminder can help you keep a possible premium refund for not submitting invoices in mind. The app does not automatically compare your insurer’s refund conditions.
Your healthcare records stay private
RHAV does not receive a copy of your invoices. Text recognition runs on your device, with no advertising or analytics SDKs. Optional iCloud uses the private CloudKit database of your Apple account. You manage your own backup and export files.
